IELTS Test Dates
International English Language Testing System

• All written tests (listening, reading and writing sections) will be held on Saturday mornings (from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.)
• Speaking tests will be held either in the afternoon after the written tests (from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) or on the following day (Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.)
• Each candidate is allocated a speaking time slot of 15 – 20 minutes.
• Candidate who has not completed all four sections of the test will not be given a test report.

Academic Module

The Academic module is for candidates wishing to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and for those seeking professional registration.

Each recognising organisation sets its own entry requirements. In some cases both modules may be accepted. If you are in doubt as to which module to take, you should contact the organisation you are applying to in order to check their requirements.

General Training Module

The General Training module is for candidates wishing to migrate to an English-speaking country (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK), and for those wishing to train or study at below degree level.

Each recognising organisation sets its own entry requirements. In some cases both modules may be accepted. If you are in doubt as to which module to take, you should contact the organisation you are applying to in order to check their requirements.

Test Schedule 8.45am (Sat) Candidates should report at 8.45 sharp (Late comers will NOT be admitted) 9.00am – 12.15pm (Sat) Listening, Reading & Writing Test 1:00pm – 6:00pm (Sat) or 9.00am – 2.00pm (Sun) Speaking Test (Each candidate will be allocated a speaking time slot of 15-20 minutes)
